Every Wednesday, Rock M Nation will post game times and channels for the week’s SEC football schedule, including, of course, your Missouri Tigers. We will also include betting lines for the SEC slate as well as some other lines of interest. DISCLAIMER: Rock M Nation is not an online gambling operator, nor a gambling site of any kind. A 2-1 week last week isn’t too shabby, but we are still chasing that elusive 3-0. We currently sit 10-6-2 ATS this season, which all things considered, is pretty good, but a 3-0 week would be icing on the cake. TCU gave us an easy win last week winning by 21 when the spread was -1.5, Nebraska almost won outright and managed to cover +3.5, and then Alabama just didn’t seem to show up in College Station. Here’s to hoping this is finally a 3-0 week, and we don’t come up just short again.

This Week’s Picks
Arkansas -3 vs Auburn

Buying the half point is crucial here. I think that Arkansas should win easily, but you never know what devil magic Bo Nix is going to whip up to convince casual college football fans he isn’t a bad QB again. Arkansas at home against Auburn should be a comfortable win in my mind for the Hogs, but buying the half point gives you a lot of extra security and at the end of the day, -110 to -120 isn’t going to kill anybody. Give me the Hogs trying to stop the losing streak against a perenially overrated Auburn team.
Kansas State +6.5 vs Iowa State

Iowa State is a shell of the team they were supposed to be coming into this season, and Manhattan is never a place you want to play as a road team. I really believe in Deuce Vaughn and Skylar Thompson, and the Wildcats are coming off a bye week, so they’ll have had plenty of time to prepare for Purdy and Hall. I don’t know if Kansas State will win outright, but I could definitely see it happening. With almost a TD spread on this game, I think the Wildcats are the clear play as home underdogs.
Oregon -13.5 vs California

Do I think Oregon is all that? No. But do I think Cal is one of the worst teams in FBS? Yes! The Pac-12 will forever and always beat each other up until USC rises from the ashes again, but in this game, I’m not worried about that. Oregon has proven they’re more than capable of being a good team when they play their game, and Cal is 1-4 with no FBS wins. The game is in Eugene, and the Ducks are coming off a loss and a bye week. They should be motivated to make a statement after having their playoff hopes destroyed by Stanford, and with plenty of time to prepare for a mediocre team, I think the Ducks win by 3 TDs or more.
