Monday, September 6th

Ole Miss Rebels -9 vs. Louisville Cardinals – Chick-fil-a Kickoff Game (the other one)

Where: Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA

When: 7:00p

Channel: ESPN

Now that we know what all these lines are looking like let’s talk about the games we like the most.

Ole Miss -9

Louisville was nothing short of atrocious last year. A 4-7 record for a team with the preseason expectations, they had brought the Cardinals back down to reality. I think Lane Kiffin and Matt Corrall light up the scoreboard and beat Louisville by at least 2 TDs.

Alabama -19

No one is ever more prepared for Week 1 games than Nick Saban’s boys. Yes, they graduated a lot, and yes, D’Eriq King is a stud. But this is Bama we are talking about. I expect the Crimson Tide to chase D’Eriq King all night, and Bryce Young to throw for at least 3 TDs. If Bama is Bama and Miami is Miami, I see this as a 42-17 game when it’s all said and done.

Ohio St -14 vs Minnesota on Thursday @ 7 pm

This isn’t one we had listed because it’s not an SEC game, but I like Ohio State way too much to not mention it. When you’ve got Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson returning you’re gonna score points, and I think this could get ugly. There are question marks surrounding CJ Stroud and his lack of experience, but he was a blue-chip guy out of HS, and I think having experienced skill players around him will allow the Buckeyes to run away with this one.
