When the spring transfer portal window opened eight days ago, I wrote that one thing Eli Drinkwitz and the staff should try to do is land a “big fish”:

Consider the big fish landed. On Wednesday evening, Mizzou secured the commitment of one of the top available OL transfers in the portal, SMU’s Marcus Bryant.

Bryant was a First Team All-AAC selection in 2023, leading the champion Mustangs’ line from the left tackle spot.
