They’ve largely indicated that scholarships will play a big role in the equation, with most money going to football and men’s basketball. But how that money gets divided elsewhere? You decided…

To be clear, “Spread it around,” in this case means making sure that the football and basketball programs have enough going around to make sure a lot of guys are getting paid rather than the top few. That’s probably a good strategy in this case, though it leaves a lot of effort on the third-party deals to secure the best of the best talents in the country. Regardless, we’ve probably got a few years before we know exactly how these things will play out.
