This is Missouri’s 13th commitment of the 2022 class.

How’s your Saturday going?

For Eli Drinkwitz and the Mizzou Football coaching staff it’s been a good one. While August is generally a quiet month for recruiting, it doesn’t mean you can land a commitment or two. Or make a little extra noise by not just landing a commitment, but FLIPPING a 4-star linebacker from his Virginia Tech commitment.

Such was the case today as the Drink “Bat Signal” went out and this time with a tease about it being Flipmas season. Get it? FLIP-mas?

Simmons visited Columbia back in June, and had been committed to Va Tech since around the same time, so it would seem the persistence paid off.
