Mizzou Baseball is running out of chances to get an SEC win as the Tigers head to College Station this weekend.
Two more SEC series are remaining in the regular season with the Missouri Tigers’ (13-35, 0-24 SEC) still searching for their first conference victory. Not only that, but Mizzou is in the midst of a program-record 12-game losing streak.
Mizzou heads to College Station this weekend for a Friday-Sunday series coming off their Tuesday night 6-5 midweek loss against that school to the west.
From last night: #Mizzou Baseball has shown noticeable improvement the last week, but that hasn’t translated to wins. The team’s youth and inexperience cost them again last night in a 6-5 loss to kU.@RockMNation https://t.co/Iam1l1VGNX

Texas A&M (27-20, 10-14 SEC) had their midweek game vs Houston on Tuesday night canceled.
Texas A&M Overview:
Head Coach: Michael Earley
2025 Record: 27-20 overall (10-14 SEC)
Picked to win the conference in the SEC Preseason Poll, the season up to this point hasn’t gone as planned for the Aggies.
With a 10-14 league mark, Texas A&M is still projected to make the NCAA Tournament, but they’re currently a bubble team per most projections.
However, the Aggies are coming off their most impressive series win of the season taking two out of three last weekend vs No. 3 LSU to put them back into the postseason conversation.
Team Leaders:
Batting Average: Terrence Kiel II (.316)
Home Runs and RBI: Jace LaViolette (15 HR, 53 RBI)
ERA: Ryan Prager (3.76)
Strikeouts: Justin Lamkin (75)
Probable Pitching Matchups:
Friday (6:00 p.m. CST first pitch): Brady Kehlenbrink (0-4, 8.58 ERA) vs Ryan Prager (3-3, 3.76 ERA)
Saturday (2:00 p.m. CST first pitch): Sam Horn (0-1, 9.00 ERA) vs Justin Lamkin (3-6, 3.88 ERA)
Sunday (1:00 p.m. CST first pitch): Wil Libbert (2-3, 6.33 ERA) vs Myles Patton (3-3, 4.95 ERA)
All three games are available to be seen on SEC Network Plus.
Series Expectation (Mizzou Gets Swept):
While our Matthew Gustafson has noted that Mizzou has improved in their recent results despite the losses, the Tigers are going on the road the face a desperate Texas A&M team. That’s just not a recipe for success.
Despite Texas A&M’s down season in terms of their high expectation, the Aggies still have plenty of more talent on paper than this depleted Mizzou team.
Perhaps there’s hope and optimism that Mizzou can be somewhat competitive in this series, but the Tigers haven’t been able to get in the win column in SEC play. Expect that to continue in College Station.
