Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz knows he wasn’t on his best behavior last Saturday against Georgia.

There were multiple times where he was yelling at the officials on the sideline and he wanted to take some time on Tuesday to apologize to everyone for his behavior.

“I would like to take a few minutes to apologize for my sideline demeanor during the course of the game,” Drinkwitz said, (first transcribed by Saturday Down South). “During Saturday’s contest, there were a few moments where I let the frustrations boil over. After reviewing the film, I clearly had inappropriate language that was not reflective of my character, and I need to be better. I need to apologize to my daughters and the officials too.”

Drinkwitz was caught in the heat of the moment since his team was in a close battle with the top team in the country.

Heck, Missouri was beating Georgia for a good chunk of the game before the latter came back to win by nine, 30-21.

Drinkwitz will now have to get his team prepped to play Tennessee this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
