Another Mizzou Tiger is off the board in this year’s NFL Draft as Kris Abrams-Draine is heading to Denver.
Mizzou Football’s streak of having at least one player drafted in each round of the NFL Draft continues.
With the 145th overall pick in the 5th Round of the NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine.

Abrams-Draine joins Darius Robinson, Ennis Rakestraw, Ty’Ron Hopper, and Javon Foster in an absolutely loaded Mizzou draft class.
In the 2023 season, Abrams-Draine had 37 total tackles (50 total) with 2.5 TFLs. Plus four interceptions and 12 pass breakups.
It was a decorated Mizzou career for Abraims-Draine who landed on First Team-All SEC honors by AP and Coaches. He was also named a Second Team All-American by AP, Walter Camp, and CBS Sports/247Sports, plus a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award.
His 34 forced incompletions since 2021 ranked first among Power Five cornerbacks.

On the ABC broadcast, Rece Davis mentioned Missouri had five players drafted. “What a great job by Eli Drinkwitz.” Draft analyst Mel Kiper added “might be more coming by the way.”

Safe to say the Broncos got themselves a steal by selecting Abrams-Draine in the 5th Round.
