Foster will join the jungle cats from Florida as the fourth Missouri Tiger selected in this year’s draft.
Javon Foster was selected 114th overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in round four of the NFL Draft on Saturday morning. He joins Darius Robinson, Ennis Rakestraw Jr. and Ty’Ron Hopper as Mizzou players selected thus far in this year’s draft.

Foster was the first Tiger to hear his name called on Saturday, with more likely to follow.
That makes four Missouri players selected in the first three rounds of this year’s NFL Draft. Foster becomes the first Tiger offensive tackle drafted since Justin Britt was taken by the Seattle Seahawks in second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Saturday also marks the first time the Jaguars have selected a Missouri player since they took Blaine Gabbert 10th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft.
“This is something you dream about,” Foster said. “You always dream about this type of thing. You don’t know what to say, and you don’t know what your reaction is going to be, but I’m just thankful to be able to be picked, and it’s a blessing.”
Foster spent six seasons at Mizzou, although he used a redshirt during his first season in 2018. He became a regular starter in 2021, and by the end of his career, had become a lynchpin along MU’s offensive line. Accolades included 2023 Third-Team AP All-America and 2023 First-Team All-SEC (Info per MUTigers.com).
“I’m just willing to play whatever they want me to,” Foster said. “They want to put me at guard, I’m ready to compete at that.”
Day three of the NFL Draft is still ongoing. Viewers can watch on ABC, ESPN, or NFL Network. Plenty more coverage to come here on Rock M Nation.
