The Morning Commute for June 2, 2025.
Welcome to the Morning Commute
Today we’re talking about Aaron Rowe and Luke Northweather. And how they’re finally in CoMo and ready to compete! Or should I say back in CoMo?
Look, it’s not like Aaron had far to go. He’s a local after all. And Luke is a Jefferson City guy, so this is also like a homecoming for him.
But we have to get excited about some things, y’all! And welcoming the PG of the future with another lanky big guy who shoots? I can get hyped about that. Check back in with me when Rowe is dishing dimes to Northweather, who’s cashing threes against Howard this fall.

Pitching coach Tim Jamieson is stepping down from his post after two seasons in Columbia, though it appears that he will remain in the program, just in a different role.
This news is a few days old. But hey, that’s the summer for you! (Editor’s note: there’s also a whole lot more to discuss, haha)
- Over at Rock M+, we’re talking about our confidence level in next year’s QBs!
I know the rep on [Pribula] is that he’s a runner – PFF puts him at a 76.4 run grade overall in his time as a Nittany Lion – but the scout says he’s got some really attractive attributes as a passer (accuracy being a big one). PFF agrees, rating him at a 92.6 pass grade for his entire career thus far.
Tap in! We’ve got all summer to discuss!
