Pressey started his coaching career as a graduate assistant in Year One under Dennis Gates where Mizzou secured the program’s first NCAA Tournament win since 2010. He’s been with the Boston Celtics organization since 2023 as a player development coach.
Congrats to Phil “Flip” Pressey as he begins his head coaching career.

Yesterday at Rock M and Rock M+
“With only nine current commits in the 2026 recruiting class — which ranks bottom three in the SEC — Missouri could use a strong week of commitments as a potential turning point for the Tigers’ 2026 class.”
It’s a pivotal week for Mizzou Football Recruiting. An opportunity to take advantage after a slow start.
“This year’s game is in Nashville, making it one of the sneakier tough games on the Tigers’ schedule. Mizzou never seems to play amazingly in Nashville even if they have won three of the last four there.”
Facing Vanderbilt on the road in Nashville with Diego Pavia returning makes this an uncomfortable matchup for Mizzou.
