Another year another wonderful conversation with Mo! I continue to push back against those who claim this man to be pompous, arrogant, or better than everyone else. That perception is a completely false representation of him in person. All of the Cardinals related events I’ve attended Mo has been gracious with his time and very congenial in his presence. He fielded all of our questions and was willing to be self-deprecating, honest, and vulnerable. What I think most people see on TV is a switch he flips and “Becomes POBO” but when the cameras are off, he’s just a regular guy like you and me. After he was done answering questions, he was willing to take pictures with all who asked, and was presented a very cool gift, a bobblehead of his likeness created and presented by Kyle Reis of “Birds on the Black” and “Wednesdays with Walton and Reis.”
