Cardinals miss out on adding a respected voice to their coaching staff

The St. Louis Cardinals missed out on a great coaching hire today, as Derek Shelton was named the manager of the Minnesota Twins. Had he not gotten the job, he likely ends up with the Cardinals coaching staff this year.
