Cardinals hopeful Arenado will be back in the lineup tonight against Twins

ST. LOUIS – The Cardinals hope to have 3rd baseman Nolan Arenado back in the lineup Friday after having the day off Thursday. He was hit by a pitch in Wednesday’s game in Cleveland. He had tests to check out his right arm.

The Cardinals are optimistic that he will be able to play Friday at Busch Stadium against the Minnesota Twins.

The MLB trade deadline is at 3:00 p.m. Friday.
