ST. LOUIS – For the first time since 2022, the St. Louis Blues hosted a playoff game Thursday night.
“It’s awesome,” said Gail Sztukowski, a St. Louis Blues fan who smiled as she entered the Enterprise Center. “It’s a beautiful night in St. Louis.”
The Charles Glenn Band greeted fans as they entered the third game of the first-round matchup against the Winnipeg Jets. Rally towels were draped over each seat for fans to wave.
“The atmosphere is unbelievable and it’s electric,” said St. Louis Blues fan Jim Spiros.
The excitement was not tempered by the fact the Blues lost the first two games of the series in Winnipeg.
“Look at what happened in 2019,” said Sandy Williams, a Blues fan attending Thursday night’s game. “To me, once we’re in, anything can happen.”
Game four of the series is scheduled for noon on Sunday, April 27.
“I didn’t expect them to come this far and here we are,” said Ryan Ahlemeyer, a St. Louis Blues fan.
