The Blues’ backup gets his first start of the season.
It had to happen sooner or later.
Husso off the ice first. #stlblues

Jordan Binnington is off to a 4-0 start, with a .919 save percentage, but he can’t start every single game. Husso had a perfectly comulent first season with the Blues as Binnington’s backup, but it could’ve gone better. Husso finished 9-6, with a 3.21 GAA and a .893 save percentage.
Tonight’s our first chance at seeing if he still has the nasty habit of allowing a goal within his first three shots faced.
Of note aside from the goaltending switch is the return of Pavel Buchnevich from his suspension. Kyle Clifford, as expected, is the odd man out. Buchnevich will slot back in on the right wing of Jordan Kyrou and Brayden Schenn, bumping Jake Neighbours back down to the fourth line.
Here’re tonights expected lines, from stlblues.com:
Forwards
Kostin – O’Reilly – Perron
Kyrou – Schenn – Buchnevich
Barbashev – Thomas – Tarasenko
Neighbours – Bozak – Neal
Defense
Scandella – Parayko
Krug – Faulk
Walman – Bortuzzo
Goalie
Husso
